I read somewhere: The Internet brings people together; I disagree, actually it is approaching distant people and separating the closest one. The exchange of knowledge and of people is much more intense now. The Internet acts as a huge black hole, sucking our time, friends and information. Learn and discuss about economics, politics, social life, wars, natural disasters, awards, behavior, love and unloving. The information received is so fast that we are not able to digest and absorb its full meaning. We devour hundreds of texts of science, writers, physicists, philosophers, newspapers, magazines and new technologies … Phew! So many things that make us feel incompetent, inferior and inadequate.
We participate in several free relationships sites, about arts, music, and movies. And because of that, we meet new friends, friends of our friends and travel. Ah… All the travels we have done! It is offered to us a competitive flight service, phone companies, railways, new technologies. The problem with this big development is the excess of adventures that can cause an emptiness feeling when we returned home. Some people, like me, have become addicted to excitement and novelty! Most of our personal relationships become more disposable, there’s no time to bond. We become empty beings, helpless and bitter, often using the Internet blogs to stimulate scandalous comments of others to replace the legitimate contact. People use the globalized world of the Internet to get a little affection … and you can include me too.
Besides all these disadvantages, we have the possibilities to follow a path much longer on behalf of the ideal person – in this case, advantage. Brazilians fall in love with Argentines, English with French, Japanese with Spaniards. It is really the globalized world! Love without borders, without a homeland, is supported by the Internet and technological advancements. People are also more “free” and prepare to leave their comfort zone to have adventures in other countries in the name of his passion. While I was writing this text, I read the blog of a Mexican girl who was preparing to live in Australia with her new boyfriend. Even knowing that her choice would be a terrible mistake to her professional life, she was willing to try it. I can imagine her amazement and delight by the illusion of the unknown; I mean the unknown country and boyfriend. People may not be true in MSN or in Skype videos – I was a victim of these Internet users who say something and do another. In contrast, that also happens with couples who sleep together in years. It is the world of information is a world disinformation.
Love must be free, magical and without borders.
Oh, I think this is an extraordinary post!
It makes me feel like I was reading something like an essay about love and affections, but actually it’s also a very elocuent report of investigation, I agree in all the points, and I must have to say: It’s pretty easy and sad the get in on that pre-organized system of life, so cold, such a terrific vision of modern relationships and interaction, who has the function of provide us with several choices, many of them, kind of bizarre and worthless, but people (not everybody) tend to absorb, to grab, to deal with the junk… and then, they’re also turning into a daily tool, so shocking! just for adding more needs to their already busy schedule. Sometimes, we only wish this shit of technology dissapears, but then I think: the solution it’s not on the way of stop it and start from zero, ‘but in the moderation’. If we knew our real goals and necessities and go for them in the name of sense, then times become more useful and give us the sensation of sharing and interacting with others without borders of preestablish desires. . .
Bravissimi!
I’m thrilled!
